Hello, dear fans of the game Big Journey to Home!

It’s been a very long time since the last update, over 4 years! A lot has happened in my life since then. Unfortunately, game development no longer interests me at the moment, but I still want to continue supporting my products. The first game I made is a special project that I poured a lot of time and effort into, and I learned a great deal from it.

Recently, it has become more difficult to maintain the domain name bigjourneytohome.com. As a result, the game’s website has moved to a new address: https://bigjourneytohome.ru/. I’ve already transferred everything, including updating the databases, blog data, and so on. You won’t notice any issues with the game servers’ functionality. However, another problem arose that required a patch, version 1.3.4. I’m not sure how long this bug existed, but due to an incorrect server request, the game would crash if the player wasn’t logged into BJtH-Online but was connected to the internet. Fortunately, I was able to fix this. Please note that the patch is essentially a hotfix; the engine and even the game version in some places remain unchanged.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t update the game on the SlideME and Amazon App Store platforms. The game is also no longer available on Kartridge due to its closure. The Microsoft Store version wasn’t updated because it doesn’t require the patch. Update 1.3.4 can be downloaded from the website, Steam, and itch.io.

By the way, this year marks the game’s 10th anniversary. It’s a milestone, so I won’t let it go unnoticed. Stay tuned for news!
